Waylon Steele, MSN, NP-C
Waylon Steele, NP-C is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Medical, Surgical, and Cosmetic Dermatology. He received a BS in Business Administration – Healthcare from The University of Georgia, followed by a BS in Nursing from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, and subsequently attended graduate school at Simmons University in Boston where he attained his MS in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He graduated summa cum laude, at the top of his class, and was inducted into the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Waylon is Board Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and he maintains an active membership with the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Dermatology Nurses’ Association, the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery, the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses, the American Med Spa Association, and the Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistant Society. Having spent the past 21 years specializing in dermatology, Waylon brings a wealth of knowledge to his Cosmetic Dermatology practice. He utilizes multiple modalities and modern approaches in his evidence-based cosmetic practice to deliver natural-looking results custom-tailored to the needs of each patient. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family, traveling near and far, and is an avid learner, always staying abreast of new and cutting-edge treatment options and procedures.
Jimmy Steele, LE
Jimmy has been working in the dermatology field for 12+ years with professional experience in both the clinical and corporate settings. He decided to transition from the pharmaceutical industry into skin care and skin education so that he could help clients of all skin types feel confident in their skin. Prior to becoming a licensed esthetician, Jimmy received a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech where he cultivated a genuine passion for the fundamentals of science and research with a concentration in biology and chemistry. He thoroughly enjoys educating himself on the latest trends in esthetic technology, skin care treatments and skin chemistry. Jimmy’s educational background paired with his kindhearted nature makes it easy for him to establish a comfortable rapport with his clients while simultaneously helping them develop a personalized treatment approach to achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful skin. Outside of work, Jimmy enjoys soaking up time with his family and friends, swimming, traveling, cooking, “wine time” and bike bootcamps with Cody Rigsby.

With a warm smile and a can-do attitude, Alyssa has been an integral part of our team for two years. Starting her journey as a front desk receptionist in our dermatology practice, Alyssa quickly became the go-to person for all things organization and client satisfaction. As our Spa Coordinator, Alyssa wears many hats. She's the mastermind behind scheduling appointments, managing memberships, handling payments, and keeping our shelves stocked with the finest products. But that's not all – behind the scenes, she's our marketing marvel, strategically navigating our social media platforms to keep you in the loop about the latest happenings at Skin By Design. When she's not immersed in the world of skincare and wellness, Alyssa treasures her time with her loved ones. Whether it's bonding with her baby boy, enjoying moments with her stepdaughter, or spending quality time with her significant other and their dog, Alyssa knows the importance of balance and joy outside of work.

ornella adam, le
Ornella is a licensed esthetician and certified laser technician with a passion for hair removal. After earning a degree in Early Childhood Education, Ornella spent over 12 years working in the corporate world, building a successful career in sales, marketing, and team management. While she enjoyed the career she had built for herself, her genuine passion for skincare inspired her to pursue a profession in skin health & esthetics. Ornella completed her esthetic training and education at the Institute for Laser Medicine and Metro Beauty Academy. In addition to laser hair removal treatments, Ornella is undergoing training in electrolysis so that she can offer full-spectrum hair removal options for her clients. Her personal life experiences relating to skin and hair, coupled with her empathetic nature allow her to seamlessly build trust with patients while providing comfort and reassurance to them during their treatments. Outside of work, Ornella loves to travel to places she has never been, and visit family and friends in Canada and Florida, her two former homes.
Meredith Kaszmetskie, RN
Meredith is a registered nurse who received her Associate Degree from Reading Area Community College. Meredith has been working in dermatology for over 10 years and is experienced in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She loves to empower patients to find a great skin regimen they love by educating them. She is a native resident of Berks County and enjoys hiking with her husband, kids, and two hound dogs when she is outside of the office. She also enjoys reading and knitting.
Ashley Wise, LE
Ashley is a state licensed esthetician with 5 years of experience in the dermatology field. She attended the American Barber and Beauty Academy. Prior to working in dermatology, Ashley spent several years working as an EMT and then dedicated 8 years to her children as a stay-at-home mom. She is also proud to be a certified Reiki practitioner. As a Reiki practitioner, Ashley helps to create a personalized, holistic approach when treating her clients. This holistic approach to skincare encourages us to look beyond quick fixes and instead cultivate a long-lasting, healthy glow. It embraces the power of nature, harnessing the benefits of botanical extracts, healing energy, essential oils, and nourishing plant-based ingredients thus allowing your natural beauty to shine through. Outside of work, Ashley cherishes the simple pleasures of life including quality time spent with her loved ones & getting lost in captivating books.

Now, she's on a path to further her education in nursing, with the dream of becoming a cosmetic nurse injector.
